We used 5 inch wide southern yellow pine floor boards which we sanded and linseed oiled and polyurethaned.
Salvaged shutters for cabinet doors:
We picked up these old chipped shutters at the ReStore in Springfield and turned them into doors for our cabinets under the kitchen sink.
Lovely floors! We don't see much pine on this side of the country. I'm glad you didn't stain them, they're so bright and clean! Also glad to hear you have a ReStore out there, too. Keep up the good work!
