About two weeks ago, Phil took the bus out on the road for the first time since December to get it inspected. He noticed it was having trouble getting up hills. So he had it looked at and it turned out the turbo was about to go and we needed to have it replaced. This was just a few days before the day we were planning on moving it to its new home, and a lot of money we weren't expecting to spend at this point. What was supposed to be 2 days of work turned into 3, then 4, then 5... until finally a week after it was looked at, it was all ready with a new turbo and inspection sticker to hit the road again.
So today the bus sits on the farm where I work, where we can continue turning it into a home, and hopefully in a few weeks start living in it!
